Herbal Tea - Acid Reflux

One of the best ways to soothe acid reflux at home is by drinking herbal tea. This blend of herbs is wonderfully fragrant and will help ease both the body and the mind. It can be additionally used as an after dinner brew to help relax, just before bedtime.

Before choosing an herbal tea, be sure to know which ones are beneficial for acid reflux symptoms, and which teas could make it worse.

We offer a blend of proven yet gentle herbs to help prevent acid reflux, assist with digestion and to calm both the tummy and the mind.

We have chosen lemon balm, catnip, lavender, ginger root and chamomile for this delicious soothing tea.

Anyone with acid reflux or GERD should avoid foods and beverages with peppermint, citrus, harsh sauces and vinegar.  Antioxidants and fiber play an important part with helping to prevent heart burn and its important to eat appropriately to keep GERD under control.

Steep 1 Tbs for a strong brew in one cup of very warm water. Cover and steep for 8-10 minutes.  Add raw honey and/or lemon to taste.

This can be enjoyed both as a hot or iced tea.
