Vanilla Oak Extract

A beautifully bold and yet smooth extract that doubles as a digestive bitters to be used for flavoring beverages, in culinary dishes and as a digestif.

This limited batch was created over a year ago with American Oak, French Oak and Mexican Vanilla Bean in a gluten free cane menstruum.

All kinds of things can happen unexpectedly in our kitchen lab and this would be one of them. We already create an Oak Extract and a Double Fold Vanilla Extract but we had some left overs and decided to combine the 3 to then extract over a year.  The levels of flavor are like a smokey vanilla with an earthy finish that really pleases the palate.

If you happen to be a "Bitter Snob", this will most certainly get your attention for the chance to acquire a unique product that it not available in stores.

If your a mixologist, you will enjoy making craft beverages, enhancing your culinary dishes and really rolling up your sleeves with making something unique. This can be used to enhance gravy, marinades, oatmeal, smoothies, brownies, wine, craft beverages and with so many more opportunities.

For beverages, try a a dropperful in with coffee, rooibos, hibiscus, hot chocolate or in chai tea.

Unfortunately, this is a forever lost recipe and a very limited batch until sold out. Made with Organic ingredients and will arrive in a 1 ounce brown glass bottle with dropper top.
